Interesting stuff. I think they're right about the eyeglasses TV thing... I sure wouldn't want to watch much video on a 2" screen. ☹️

Years ago I mentioned to friends I personally did not see why the big push for content on a cell phone. I still do not. I can see a very narrow segment of our society wanting to surf from their phone. There is an inherent limitation to the usefulness and enjoyment of such a combined device (for me). I note the usefullness of sending text messeges and even pics and some video. I am not convinced on the web content. The news on TV is poorly reported enough let alone have an even smaller edited "news" item on the screen. I can figure out the weather.. thank you very much. I do not need a stock quote or traffic report every 10 minutes. Nor do I think it is vital for me to know the score on every sporting event as soon as it occurs.

What scares me is how many people will mount the phone on thier dashboard and then watch and drive at the same time.

Interesting post... Got me thinking, too. Personally, I would like to have access to everything - TV, internet (stocks, sports scores, weather [though, who cares], chat, voice calls - everything - in real time, everywhere I go, wirelessly in my pocket (don't care how big the pocket needs to be - size of eq doesn't much matter).
Now that's me... I'm expecting to see all of this in my lifetime. My only hope is that fatcats don't put restrictions on what can and cannot be accessed.
I think this is the general consensus of my generation. Just take a visit to any of Japan's major cities...
