Those tips are kind of obvious but they're good to know. Hope everything works out well!
Make sure you activate service at a Cingular store because activating service through a dealer the buyers' remorse period is lesser than 30 days depending on vendor.
I believe the activation fee is fully waived if service is terminated within the first 3 days of activation thereafter you will be responsible for it plus monthly fees, taxes, charges, subcharges and any other garbage fees carriers add to the bill.
When returning equipment make sure phone doesn't show any physical damage ie. scratches, dents, water vapor etc. and have all receipts in hand and make sure you get a return receipt and keep in a safe place for at least 12 months.
Finally call customer care to make sure account is in "cancel status" and get...

Seriously, if they really were all that, I'd be with 'em. But where I live, the SF Bay Area, Verizon just flat owns Cingular. I won't be switching. And I'm sure Verizon will continue to add more customers than Cingular too, as they've been doing for quite some time now. How DO they do that, if Cingular is all that and a bag of chips, I wonder?
Heck, T-Mobile adds more customers than Cingy does.

Why do you always stomp on people's positive opinions or motives when they involve Cingular? Obviously this person has had different experiences with Verizon than you have had. If he has been motivated to switch to Cingular because they offer something that fits his needs better, don't criticize him.
I don't recall him ever saying that he lived in the Bay Area so why do you continue to parade around this forum telling every...

Like an honest statement of opinion and personal experience. One that may not agree with yours, but an honest one nonetheless. Why does this bother you so?

Hey Jake, I have to agree with Phoenix. There is no way Phoenix could possibly be smart enough to be Cain. Referring to Phoenix as Cain would be a compliment!

I don't even think I've posted "hundreds" of times. đ are you kidding me about the insults? the majority of posts on this forum insult somebody. the only people i've said anything rude to were the people who waste forum space with petty bickering and usually because they sai something rude to me. the main difference between me and them is the simple fact that i don't sit around claiming to be a know it all. i have been around, but i am still learning: the main reason i started following this website. i just don't think that the so called "videogame ...

it's ok to harass me, tell me to shut up, an call me unamerican. but if i tell him to shut up and stick to something more in his mental league, that's an insult? đŗ i'm not too sure i understand that double standard. i think that pretty much sums up the main problem with many of the "experts" on this forum. they expect to be judged by a double standard that only applies to them. it's entirely ok for them to harass, judge, insult, belittle, and bicker, but they have the right to complain when someone gives it right back to them? đ maybe we should just take it up with the modera...

What I was getting at is that a loyal Verizon customer who recently decided that Cingular is a very good alternative to his Verizon service, voiced his opinion on this forum. I don't think it really matters what his reasons were. You have done the same thing as he did, voicing your opinion on this forum, about how Verizon is the best for you rather than Cingular. But in your case it seems never to be beneficial to somebody, but rather to criticize their opinion.
Why is it okay for you to reprimand somebody for voicing their opinion when you do it yourself? Now I must admit that he may have made himself susceptible to "attack" being this the Verizon forum, but...

Nor did I 'reprimand' him in any way or infringe on his right to state his opinion. He posted his opinion, I posted a contrasting one. Thats the way public discussion forums work. If he didn't want to deal with the possibility of a contrasting opinion, then he shouldn't have posted on a public forum.
I think the things you're saying and the attitude you're taking would be appropriate if I had personally attacked him in any way. I didn't.
I admire the fact that you have principles and you're willing to champion them. But I think we disagree on what is and isn't appropriate to...
