if i were to get the unlock code to my voyager. what could i expect to be able to manipulate with it? i got the code to check the warranty code, and software version. #1234*1234 .. is this the same one in the two or is there a different one? and whats it specifically called?

You might be in the wrong forum. I don't think you can buy unlocked phones to use on Verizon.

With CDMA phones, carriers can't really lock phones. Well at least VZW doesn't lock our phones. The thing is, the carrier you want to take the Voyager to, lets say Sprint, would have to have the inventory of MEID's for Voyager phones. And of course they don't. I would have to check my programming guide for the Voyager, but if I'm not mistaken, the sequence of #1234*1234 would be used to enter the programming menu. So if Sprint, hypothetically, had the Voyager MEID inventory, you would use that sequence to enter the MDN, MIN, and SID manually.

That's not an unlock code. That just takes you into manual programming. You generally go in there if OTA programming fails.
