Have you played with the Venus yet? I would go into a store and mess with one before you buy it. I noticed that there is a little delay in the software between the time you touch it and the time it reacts. That would drive me crazy.

I have an LG VX8600 right now. I'm not really excited about any phones out right now. If I was going to get something today, I'd get an enV. There is some stuff being released in Q2 that looks interesting. The Samsung u940 being released (hopefully) in March should be good too. I'm waiting for the u940 before I make a decision on something.

The lg 8700 is pretty cool looking, or the samsung u740 i had that phone and it worked really well..small, good for texting and good sound quality. Other than that there is not much to choose from...the lg 8350 has good RF, compact, basic but good.

The enV > the Samsung u740. They're similarly priced, and you get a 2mp camera with the enV vs. the 1mp camera with the Samsung u740. The keys on the Samsung u740 are too small as well. The P key is really difficult to press. The Samsung u740 is good conceptually, but it needs some improvement.
