I'll be honest, I usually don't post on verizons wall, because I'm not a fan, but I thought I'd post this for you guys. I can't imagine verizon doing this to overtake at&t, I think that would be a joke. I'm not sure if its true, maybe you all would know.

With Sprint you get unlimited calling, and data, and text. It's a way better deal.

You need to read up, nukes are on the way 😁 They've had unlimited for years!

Yes I know however its 199.00 a month as you failed to add that to your post. And the trails they been working on still have not made it nationwide yet. Verizon has had unlimited too if I am not mistaken for about the same price sprint has about 200 a month for one line. Neither advertise it online you have to call or go to a store to get it.

I am not talking about their recent announcement trails as you say...people have had unlimited with sprint for 99 bucks for years..very old plans but they exist..and did you see how expensive verizon new plans are? I'm glad they have to, but it's verizon priced!

Who talks that much that a 2000 minute plan is not enough? Not too many people. UNLIMITED sounds GREAT but in reality those on a 1500 minute a month plan now are not counting minutes.

33 daytime hours a month is a lot of phone time.Nearly a WORK week on the phone LOL.

Marketing Rules. No one does it better than Verizon.

Joe- You are not average at all, but below average. The average cellular customer uses his phone around 500 peak minutes a month. When you look at ARPU you will see VZW and at@t are around 51 bucks per user/unit and closer to 60 for Sprint. You Joe are on a piddly plan with two phones if I remember correctly using 550 shared minutes with a pool of rollover(2000+) you will never use unless you find some new friends in your life.
There are currently somewhere between 45-50 million users in the US paying 99 a month or more for their voice plans so what does all this equate to oh great average one? A wireless world where most people have a lot more going on than you. Quit being clueless Joe, not everyone sits at home as bored as you with nobod...

Sorry Joe but you are wrong again. I have a 900 minute plan these days and rarely use over 500. I am an active member of my community and serve on the town Board of Trustees. I work around 50 hours a week and have a wife, two dogs and active social schedule. Keep trying Joe, fact is you don't know Jack about cellular.

I helped setup a business account with all their users requiring 4000 minute business plans. Those are the kind of people who would like to hear the word "unlimited" and take advantage of it.

I went to verizonwireless.com this morning to pay my bill and they really did launch it. I called a rep to question it and he said that it would just be a limited time offer and customers should take advantage of it.

2000 hours is nearly whole work week talking on the phone!!Oh and Not coounting week-ends and nights. I would say those who are on the phone for 40 hours plus a month had better be being paid for it. That's a lot of gabbing.

SunCom has had unlimited for years at $69 (including junk fees) here anyway. So $99 seems a lot more expensive for the same.

Unlimited calling is like Roll Over It really benefits few (Roll Over for low use, Unlimited for High use) but sounds like a great idea and are great marketing tools..

Funny I've never seen Suncom in my area. They must be huge, and have a national network with no roaming, right? 🙄 Don't get all pissy because you sprint trolls were wrong. If you're going to bash this plan, you have to bash the idea of having any plan. Each plan services it's own niche. If you can't appreciate that or understand that you obviously don't understand the business.

This is where you lose it for many. MOst people do not care How LARGE a coverage area is. If that were the case GSM would BLOW AWAY CDMA WORLDWIDE!!

They only care about what works where they need it MOST of the time. Someone who does not travel much can pay $69 TOTAL including the junk fees for the same cover...

the unlimited plan is an awesome idea the people that i talk to on a daily basis pay more than $100/month average and where verizon does offer the option to change your plan at any time and backdate it if you are going over your min...most people dont check there min. it is not an option for everyone but it will be perfect for alot of people....you may think that is too much time to spend on the phone but alot of people use it for business and have to be on the phone all day long, and blow over 2000 min easy on a month to month basis...it is also a promotion to try to get people to do away with there home phones and just use there cell phones....i have had 100s of people ask me for an unlimited plan and i can finally give it to them
