It is in the works and Jesus will float out of the clouds just in time to make the announcement and convince the FCC that it should be approved without question.

Maybe he can convince the FCC to approve the merger of Sirius & XM when he floats out too, thats only been in the hands of the FCC for a year now. I would hate to see how long a Verizon-Sprint merger would take.... even though it would never happen.

Not to mention how many areas would need to be divested to make it a fair deal in the eyes of the FCC. 😳

If Verizon Wireless buys anyone it will be Embarq. VZW would gain home phone, HSI, and fiber in the mid-west. Not to mention all the Embarq wireless customers that are still using sprints network but are going to be forced off in the next 12 months as part of the deal when Embarq's CEO went to Sprint PCS. Another fact, Verizon has been training some of their staff in the Midwest on landline procedures; ask yourself why this is when VZW has no territory there?

Verizon is in debt 31 BILLION and has 2 Billion in cash. I doubt they want or need Sprint. Vodaphone will have a say as well. Verizon Wireless answers to both companies.

They can get all the Sprint customers without buying the company by opening up their network to those with Sprint phones.

I believe Sprint will turn around though.

Personally, I don't care who "buys" who! I'm just happy with the "seemingly price game" that has started! Hope it drives the cost way down. 😁
