Threaded Texting on Pearl
hey guys,
On my old Verizon Blackberry, and on my work Blackberry Curve, texting is threaded so to speak. So I can see my texts along with the ones from the person I'm talking to all in the same screen, like a conversation (I know we all know what this is, but wanted to clarify anyway).
I just got a Pearl and it doesn't seem to do this. Each text (sent and received) is displayed individually. Is there a setting to switch this? I really liked that feature and was hoping they didn't abandon it.

My Pearl does threaded texting. Sometimes it's a little off if you're texting a lot to the same person. Like, it won't show the thread in the right order, or will only show part of the thread.

I think I figured out my problem. I JUST got the Pearl, and I immediately texted a few people without actually entering their numbers in my contacts. So then when I DID enter their names it retroactively changed the "number" to their "name" but I don't think it recognized it the same way as if I was texting to someone that was already in my address book.
Maybe that doesn't make sense, but either way I figured it out 🙂 Thanks again.
