Just a link of some official stuff. There is plenty of info out there about the way this is going to be set up, But from what i read it sounds like if you don't want verizon ui you will be able to buy a phone straight from the manufacturer(ex:motorola) that has already been approved from verizon and will come with moto ui on it. If you get it from another carrier, you may have to mail it in and get it certified.

i dunno to me this is pointless, until verizon supports open access with data then it's a waste imo. If verizon turn on the data switch in the future and i can use any device with google Android with no restriction then we are talking! until then i guess the ui haters will be happy, i guess 🙄

Sounds pretty cool...this could really bring about a lot of changes in the way phones are distributed and sold. Glad to see verizon taking the lead on this.
