lte and cdma compatability

I know this has probably been discussed thousands of times over. But when Verizon goes with lte in the next few years, will they still carry cdma radios in their phones? is cdma compatible with lte?

Pretty sure they are two different radios, so it doesn't need to be compatible. And since everyone knows cdma is superior to everything else, yes they will keep cdma.

it will be the same as now. EVDO is a diff radio.

they will have dual band CDMA and also single/dual band LTE chips in them. maybe even EVDO also as a backup data who knows.

CDMA will be for voice. LTE data
