Tracing picture messages...
Is it possible for Verizon Wireless to see where a picture message is sent to? Say someone takes your phone and sends a picture to someone else, is there a way that someone in the store or National Customer Service can see what number it was sent to?

I'd say no. I'm sure it's not possible for these people. It could probably be done by the network team, but never would be without a court order.

Detailed billing will not show your text messages, it will only show call history. As stated in the previous reply to this question, it is only available by subpoena. Of course, if the sent message is still on the phone then you can get the number there. Otherwise...without a subpoena, no you can not find out where the picutre was sent.

Okay so go online to MyAccount and check detailed there. I just did, without a subpoena.

I don't know what you're looking at, but MyAccount, nor anything available to a consumer, again without a subpoena, will provide you with the mobile number a picture message was sent to. Detailed billing only tells you the call details, not the text/pix details.

I'm in My Account, Left side of page click on messages, click view all usage, left side click Text, Picture, and Video Messages...wait for it, wait for it OH. Date, Time, To, From, Direction, Message Type, Charge, and you can even download it to a spreadsheet.

i had a problem 1 time where my boyfriends friend was receiving pics from me and i didnt even have his number, theyu were errored pics tho and it wouldnt upload them. but i called about it bc my boyfriend was getting mad and asked them what was going on and they said that one night i sent his friewnd 3 pictures, i asked the times and they said it was 2 am keep in mind i went to bed at 12.... so they can check who sent and recevied the messages ad when.

i work in a retail store and i am able to see who sent a text or pix to what number and what time it was sent and recieved so you can call up customer service and say you want to know who is sending pictures from your phone...legal department with a court order can even see what was said in the text 😲 😲 😲
