According to Phone Arena, the touchscreen only works if you press it with your finger. That might suck.

Aren't the Venus and Voyager pressure sensitive as well? That's much better than heat sensitive. Heat sensitive phones have a bad habit of becoming nonresponsive in extremely cold weather.

This is heat sensitive if it requires a finger.

So you can't use a stylus or anything else? That sucks. I like my Voyager's touch UI.

According to my Samsung rep, VZW made the software for the browser on the Voyager and the Glyde. It's exactly the same which is why the UI looks so similar. On a side note, I like that the number keys on the Voyager are their own seperate buttons instead of sharing keys with letters like the Glyde does. This might be trivial for most people, but all of my passwords have letters and numbers. Seeing as I use my phone for email, it would be a pain in the arse to have to keep hitting a toggle button to switch between them.

Granted, the phone looks great and I love the slide out keyboard, but won't give up my number bar. 😁

Apparently the F700 had an award winning user interface, 'Croix'. Verizon Wireless didn't really seem to care about that and replaced it with their own UI.
