BEDMINSTER, N.J. - On the surface, Lou LaMedica is just another friendly guy who lives in New Jersey and enjoys Dilbert cartoons. But behind closed doors, LaMedica transforms into a sort of superhero of the cellphone industry, a guy who fights daily against dropped calls and crummy reception.

LaMedica runs Verizon Wireless' testing laboratory in Bedminister, N.J. Inside a nondescript building, behind a series of locked doors, LaMedica and his team of 37 engineers put about 100 cellphones a year through a rigorous series of tests, including baking, zapping and X-raying. yeah like the lg 6100 samsung u740 the blackberry 8830 and countless other phones that are sub par compared to good ones. oh lets test the gps and software then cripple it and muck up the software.

All of this testing, and these bozos can't even find the issue on the Motorola V3M, KRZR K1M, and the W385 of not being able to tell what the current ringtone is. (All other manufacturer's phones that run the new flash UI are OK, i.e. Samsung, LG)

What a bunch of crap!!!
