Question about switching
Because my coverage with AT&T is unreliable in NC I'm planning to return to Verizon. I've enjoyed being able to transfer mp3 files to my phone to use as ringtones as well as transferring pictures taken with the phone to my PC via bluetooth or USB cable. I don't want to give up my current set of ringtones and since they're personally made ones I can't repurchase them.
On which phones can I transfer mp3 files to from my PC to use as ringtones? I saw a review regarding the Moto V3m that said you couldn't. Wouldn't the Moto Phone Tools software allow you to transfer files or has Verizon blocked that?

you should be able to email the tones to your phone....picture message...save as ringtone on the phone...

Not to be a jerk but it just amazes me how much emphasis people put on ring tones. I have crappy service with ATT, but before I come back to the best network, I just want to make sure my ring tones will work. I just don't get some people and their priorities, my phone rings I answer it.

You have to be able to recognize that it's your phone ringing to be able to answer it. If everyone's phone sounded the same, how do you know it's your phone? Besides, I like having different ringtones for family, for friends, for work, and for unknown callers. That way I can decide if I want to take the call or let it go to voicemail.
And I had GREAT service with AT&T before I moved to NC. My family all has GREAT service with AT&T where they're at. And I LEFT Verizon because I had crappy service where I was (at that time) and Cingular had better reception there, not to mention more minutes at a cheaper price and the freedom to transfer files, pictures, contacts, music, & ringtones between your PC an...
