BB Question

JT1234

Mar 15, 2008, 8:52 PM
I am about to buy a blackberry pearl and was wondering which bb plan to get

I need a plan that covers downloading from the internet. I do not need corprate service.

My question is I guess
Will the 29.99 BB plan cover downloading from the internet?

Or do I need to the higher priced plan?

How much data do you get when you have the 29.99 option for BB? The Verizon agent is says that it is only 10mb, but I have read on here that it is unlimited and that alot of agents did not know about it.

The 29.99 is unlimited. There is a 24.99 that is 10 MB.

Do you work for verizon? Just wondering because I need to talk to someone who knows what there doing, but right now I am just trying to compare prices with "the other guys" and I hate this uninformed rep on the line that is telling me(just called in to ask a question)that the 29.99 is for 10mb. I am going to upgrade on 4/2/08 and I decided to check a couple things out on my day off.

I do not work for Verizon, but I do know what I am talking about. Here are the BlackBerry plans and what they include:

$24.99/month: 10MB data transfer, BIS, and BES

$29.99/month: Unlimited BIS

$44.99/month: Unlimited BIS & BES

BIS is BlackBeery Internet Service, which is for web browsing and personal email. BES is for enterprise email. Hope this helps.

Correct. If you do not need corporate e-mail access, the $29.99 is the correct plan. And I do work for VZW.

OK, stupid question, but without bugging our hard to find IT guy, how do I know if my business has an exchange server? My outlook email account name is mail.****.net and is identified as a POP/SMTP type account. Anybody?

if they have an exchange server, the more then likely have an "it guy"

so if you dont want to bother your "it guy" you probably do have an exchange server
