Cingular agrees to pay back wages, improve labor policies
I think I posted something about the Sprint-Nextel merger happening here, and no one said, "Why is this posted here?"... 😕
Think of it as a library where visitors would like to find what they are looking for without sifting through all the other material.
This particular post could have been posted in the general (where I post news) and also in the Cingular forum).
thanks 🙂
Continue to discuss topics of wide interest on the Verizon forum (even if they're not strictly 'Verizonesque')? Yeah, probably.
Perhaps you should trust that ppl who don't think precisely as you do can still be nice, well-meaning ppl. That's a sign of adulthood too. 😉

Nah, you got me beat on the snippy, cheap shots...
We agree that it is most relevant in the news forum but why should I have to sift through it in the VZW forum. Why should I or anyone else expect other carriers info in this forum?
How would you specifically define the boundaries?
This is not about you or me, this is about how to use the forum structure as Rich has defined it most appropriatly for all concerned.
I've also noticed that many of the reps who frequent this site have worked for multiple carriers. Today's VZW rep may be tomorrow's Cingy rep, and vice-versa. Given the volatility of today's job market, wouldn't ppl want to know a little about job-related issues at other carriers?
I guess I just don't see why the focus has to be so straight n' narrow. This isn't a very busy forum.
Or the "Verizon Anti-Union" thread...
I guess there wasn't anything good in the news for verizon, so they had to talk about their opposition.
My training center is also the OKC call center... you get fired for working off the clock. I have a hard time believing that Cingular "forced" people to work off the clock, but rather people worked early, and are now suing to get back at an ex-employer.
