I know Sanyo is exclusive to Sprint but couldn't Verizon make a decent offer $$$$$$$ CHI CHING!!!!! BAM!!!!!!!!

J.D. Power award winning phones. And come on, have you played with a Katana II? Those are the most durable thin phones ever.

that pos crap company is taking them over, i forget the name...hopefully they fully understand that Sanyo has won countless JD power awards for quality and only over see the dept...

from what I've read so far that seems to be the approach they're going to take

My next two phones are the Sanyo PRO 700 and PRO 800, well and the Curve lol

The PRO series will be a TRUE sanyo they have been in the pipeline for a long time

That POS company you're referring to is Kyocera. I agree that they're a POS company. I had the Kyocera 2235 and while it had good reception, the phone had other problems, including never detecting voicemail. Unless they keep the people who make the Sanyo phones, then we can expect Sanyo phones to go to **it. I believe if Sprint hadn't locked the entire brand name into an exclusive contract, then it might have been possible other carriers could have gotten a Sanyo as well.

Hey Brown. Not sayin' this in a bad way, so don't take it wrong, cuz I'm not like that! 😉 But are you with Verizon too, or just Sprint? You told me you had the Touch with Sprint, but I see your name on the Verizon forum all the time. Just wonderin'!

I've used verizon service for years (airtouch 199😎 so I'm well informed about their phones and policies. My entire family is still with verizon so I'm very up to date...but yes I'm a Sprint customer who has the Touch, Motorola ic502, i880, and soon the Curve! I like verizon but prefer Sprint...and hate gsm lol

Phone junkie what am I to do?? 😁

Oh, I know what ya mean about the phone junkie part. I've stopped counting how many phones I've had in the last year. I think it's probably embarrassing! 🤭

a Verizon Wireless Sanyo phone would be the second coming of the Motorola E815. I'd so get it in a heart beat. Sanyo phones are by far the best CDMA handsets out there in my opinion.

i seem to remember a couple of years back we had a few sanyo models as well as one or two ericssons...i've heard mixed reviews on sanyos and verizon is really picky about phones, although they still sell motorola 😕 i do really like the katana dlx, it would be nice if when kyocera acquires them we see some of their handsets make it to verizon, competition makes everything better!
