Samsung Glyde & Instinct
I'm worried because the Instinct for Sprint comes out in the summertime and they're already marketing/advertising it, but the Glyde is coming out April/May and there is no marketing/advertising- not even in the CTIA (that I know of) did they show the phone. The only buzz we've gotten of the Glyde is from word of mouth in these forums. So do you guys think it is going to be a bad phone? Verizon was creating buzz about the Voyager way before it came out- not so much for the Glyde....

The sprint Instinct "kills" the Voyager? only advantages that I've seen are a very slightly larger screen, .2inches, and Rev A as opposed to Rev 0? Last time I checked, that barely improved download speeds, and really only improved upload speeds. Tell me again, how it will "kill" the Voyager? Oh, I forgot, it has the advantage of being on the Service/Network, that comes in dead-last on Consumer Reports, and J.D Powers surverys every quarter, and on the company who loses more customers than they bring in. 🤣

Voyager is the best phone out there. period. Even my cousins and friends with iphones want my phone 🙄

the verizon glyde is seen in us weekly april 7th article. if u call 611 or verizon u will usually get a representive who will tell u it is the glyde. the last 1 i spoke to said it might be comin out 1st or 2nd week of may its heresay but since u asked i figured ill say that

that wasn't my point. I know it's coming out earlier than the Instinct. I'm really surprised that Samsung and VZW both stayed completely quiet on this phone during CTIA. I can understand that the phone's not completely ready to go, but Sprint showed off the Instinct and that thing was a hell of a lot more raw than the Glyde seems to be.
I mean, the Touch, the Curve, env(2), a Q9C, and an updated Alias are the only ones being advertised. They created a media blitz around the Voyager. The Glyde, which is a phone that certainly seems to be on that level, gets nothing.

lol its verizon they are not known for thinking like otheres. they usual do whatever they want to do with phone releases because they fall back on their service. unlike sprint who pushes new phones. however as it gets closer we should see more advertisement probably after april 7th because there is a small pic in a the april 7th of us weekly eidition like i said.

At the time they pushed the Voyager to compete with the iphone, that hysteria has since calmed down.
