At&t JUST got theirs. Where's the negative comment for them? Oh wait, you don't do that against them, only VZW. 😛
You need to catch up or take notes I have had all those features since last year using Garmin XT. I don't pay extra for a "NAV Plan" and it includes Voice, POI, traffic, weather, movie start times.
When Verizon allows you to load GArmon or Tom Tom on a phone that has a REAL GPS SAT chip that does not need to be "INI Network" to work...... let me know....

What I DO know, however, is that phase 2 users will receive a message of the day from vznav saying it's time to upgrade the app.
VZNav phase 4 for advanced devices will launch at a later date.
After the software update was released, the newer phones were nav ready right out of the box.
You can get the update from verizon's website or from blackberry itself.

Current trend points to the Curve being supported. The MOTQ9C coming out will have Nav as well.

or we just happen to prefer making phone calls rather than using a mobile device to remotely launch an ICBM.
I understand. Why else would people pay Verizon for everything and suffer old "new" phones?

Pay for convenience. You should know this. Americans don't care and are lazy. They want everything spoon fed to them and will pay a premium for that.

Yeah, that's the problem these days. No accountability. No one accepts any responsibility. Everyone wants things given to them but when things go wrong, they blast the people that help them out.
