lost phone number out of the blue?
Had a customer who got a text saying that his profile had been updated, and he called in to find out the details. Turns out a glitch in the system caused VZW to lose his phone number; they said that it had "been canceled." he got it back; this isn't a prank; would anyone know how something like that would happen?

not sure about that but I've had my contract mysteriously extended for a year, took me a week to get it straightened out.

ive had that happen. i processed an esn change and it mysteriously changed the phone #. that has been happening a lot too cuz the department i call to get it fixed said theyve been getting a lot of calls about that
