Service in Las Vegas, NV

I'm a huge Verizon fan, but lately, I have noticed a dramatic decline in service quality, with dropped calls, no signal, bad audio quality, etc. over the last month. Is anyone else experiencing this? I called Verizon and they gave me the *228 and remove battery for 5 seconds spiel. Neither of these remedies have worked. I have 2 identical phones that are doing the same thing (SCA-A670), so I don't think it's a phone problem.

Service degradation in a particular location can be attributed to Verizon (or any carrier for that matter) fine tuning the network or preparing to add towers. They re-orient the antennas on existing towers to maximize coverage in preparation for the new tower's footprint.
Sometimes an antenna will become re-oriented in bad weather or weather may affect a microwave link.

This is my theory for went wrong with Nextel's overall service while they upgraded their network to WiDen.
