Awesome Announcement
In southern CA, Verizon Wireless just secured an 800 line 2 year contract with, drum roll please................. SBC!!!! Man what does that say when the parent company of Cingular decides to sign a contract for cellular service with its biggest rival. Kinda says something about who has the better quality network huh?

This is actually very common.
When I worked for the them (Verizon) just for giggles I looked for other carriers and most had service with Verizon.
If you work for Cingular for example and can't get service in your area you can get service with a competitor. And they will foot the bill. They prefer a partner but if one is not available they you have to get what's
available.
When doing directory assistance I also looked for odd names. You can't imagine how many "Mike Hunt's" and "Ben Dover's" their are in this wonderful country, 100's

Yeah, try doing a search in Access for, I don't know try. Cingular, T-Mobile.
Let me know what you find.
I know Denny Strigl has about 20 free lines of service.

I've taken calls from Verizon Wireless workers in the past from locations where either Verizon didn't have roaming agreements or simply there was not much CDMA coverage.
