Hello everybody!!! Currently I work for a corporate Sprint Nextel store, but unfortunately my store is one of the 125 closing. So yesterday I went into my local verizon wireless store and I was quite impressed! I spoke with them and they said they were in need of reps and were excited that I was interested and directed me online. I did the application and posted my resume but for the Dayton, OH area there were NO JOBS LISTED. Does any body have any tips on how I to be recognized by the HR department so I may get a job?

Maybe wait a bit longer... 😛

If it's anything like Sprint, the store manager has to submit the job to their internal system. The system or HR verifies the new position meets the store's headcount and role limits then approves the requisition. The job is posted to the available jobs.

It's one thing for the manager or employees to say they could use people, but if there is not a current open job requisition then they have to make one.
