has anyone would heard of N-E new world phones coming out for verizon soon. My sister is going to south africa and her upgrade is in july? 🙂

you may want to look at getting an unlocked gsm phone and then getting a prepaid sim card once you get to south africa. I think thats actually a more cost effective way to travel and use a cell phone when overseas.
As far as verizon offerings. I think the BB 8830 and the Motorola Z6TV are the only world phones at this point
