If they don't have your model, the policy requires that they give you something substantially equivalent in form and function.
In certain cases, if they don't have your model, you may be able to negotiate over what they send you--within reason. For example, if you lose a VX-6100 and they don't have one, they may try to send you a Samsung A670. But the A670 is digital only, and the VX-6100 is tri-mode.
