Ok...got the EnV 2 last Wed when it became available in stores, and the first thing I did was DL the VZW Navigator, since it is free with the premium plan I also had...and it worked great. My boyfriend has the original EnV, and over the weekend, he was playing with it and realized he was able to DL a new version of VZW navigator...version 4.0 or something...and it has really cool features like traffic optimized driving and movie times around your GPS location. I was Like, Oh cool! there is a new version out! so, i went to try to DL it, too. No dice. i looked for updates every way i could think of. it kept telling me that my version was the newest one available..which was obviously not true! i also completely deleted the app and DL'ed it agai...

I had the same problem, especially when you check for updates through VZNAV. What worked for me was the following: go to "Get It Now", then click on "Tools on the Go", highlight don't click on VZNAV there you click on "Options", and click on "Upgrade Check".

hope that helps 🙂

no item found? it should say no update.... do you have VZNAV uploaded on your phone? If not, upload it then do the process I told you about. If that doesn't work I would def call 611. You're paying for it so you should have access to the upgrade.

well, on the EnV 2, there isn't a "tools on the go" area. you go into main menu, then "media center" then "browse and Download" and yes, i have VX navigator and the mobile email apps DL'ed. i highlight VZ navigator, then hit the right soft key under options, and go to upgrade check. then it says connecting for a minute. then says "no items were found." ☚ī¸ đŸ˜ĸ

there's a possibilty 4.0 isn't opened up to the EnV2 yet... give it time.. it'll show up. This sometimes happens with new phone releases

There are several model phones that do not have the 4.0 upgrade available yet. The EnV-2's anticipated software release is May 7, but it's been behind schedule for almost every roll out, so don't hold your breath.
