Not a chance. They are built for two totally different networks (GSM and CDMA). You don't like the sidekick? the voyager and the sidekick are pretty similar.

Absolutely. you would have to unscrew your phone open to reveal all of those wires and chips. Afterwards, replace the CDMA chipset with a GSM chipset. Oh yeah, I think you have to make sure the motherboard is compatible. Once you do all of the rewiring and replace the incompatible parts with compatible parts, you may have to upload a compatible operating system and reprogram the phone so it can recognize the tmobile network. and i think it goes without saying that if you mess up your phone will be f'd.

so bottom line ... no. the voyager will not work. CDMA phones will not work on GSM networks.

The OP saw a cool phone they liked and wanted to know if there was a way to make it work on another network. CWcanty gave them the simple honest answer of no. thats all that was needed. no wonder custies hate coming here. 🙄
