That was out of line. I think it is important to point out that Vodaphone is a GSM carrier. The average cell phone user doesn't really know the difference between GSM and CDMA. All they see is a company that owns VZW is getting the iPhone. Not hard to make an uneducated leap that it MIGHT mean something for VZW customers if you didn't know better.

I have a lot of friends. I just don't really count posters in silly web blogs among them. I've had my clashes with AveJoe as well, and have no love for the guy. He's an AT&T user and thinks the N95 was God's gift to the planet. I have no idea what he's posted in the past here but that seemed a harmless post to point out that Vodaphone is a GSM carrier and not to get hopes of an iPhone release on VZW. If I failed to read more into that then so be it.

As far as the whole "troll" thing goes, do you really think anyone cares if you name call? Your VZW Fanboys!! There, does that hurt??? Sticks and stones. I browse all the forums but since I manage user accounts on VZW, AT&T, and used to with Sprint, I can go where I like and post what I like...

All that because I thought it was out of line to jump AveJoe for pointing out that Vodaphone's getting the iPhone wasn't going to affect VZW users.

And another thing... Verizon fanboy? no, I have a T-mobile and work for sprint. Im about to switch to verizon but if I had my choice i would go to sprint or cingular but I dont like their phones... Just food for thought

..and those shareholders are VZ Communications and Vodaphone. All incorporated companies have shareholders. When my business incorporated, as one of the three primaries, we 'divvied' up the shares to 1/3 each. So VZC and Vodaphone are those shareholders which kind of puts this sub thread tangent in to a circle so I'd suggest that to both that it be called a draw and move forward.
