A New Every Two Question
New Every Two used to be applicable after 20 months. I now see on the Verizon website that it is applicable after two years. Has there been a change in Verizon policy?
...
It always been every 2 years, but VZW allows you to upgrade after 20 months.
...
Verizon's website does not say that you can upgrade in 20 months. It says "two years". Furthermore, in "my account", the bar showing how long it will be until NE2 is applicable now says two years whereas prior to my last upgrade, the bar showed 20 months. That is why I'm questioning whether Verizon's policy has changed.
...
from VZW Website:
How is my upgrade price calculated?
By extending your contract, you may qualify for a discounted price, depending on when you last purchased a new phone at a discounted price, and your contract term.
- Customers on a one-year contract may upgrade at a discounted price after 10 months.
- Customers on a two-year contract may upgrade at a discounted price after just 20 months.
Plus, if you're currently enrolled in our New Every Two program*, you will be eligible for an additional discount with a two-year contract extension.
You may always choose to upgrade without extending your contract at full retail price.
...
It appears, then, that Verizon's policy has not changed. Thanks.

Officially ... it's NE2 every two years, but internal policy is 20 months.
...
That is correct. I actually meant to add that to my reply. But must have clicked submit too soon. ðŸ¤
