Yeah they are quite slow. They say it is because of the number of orders they are receiving. I don't know why they haven't dedicated a couple more reps to helping out their fellow employees. I bet it wouldn't be hard to find someone that wants to deal with employees instead of customers. I have a kid in my store that has been waiting 3 weeks for his order to be processed. Another person waited 2 weeks and then they told him his order was canceled and he had to resubmit it. Took him 2 months to get a BB Pearl. I don't know why they don't let us do things in the stores (of course the managers would do it). Seem like that might take a load off their shoulders.

I actually just cancelled my agent line today and went back to normal pricing. The customer service for agent lines is horrible and I was tired of it!

I went from personal account to an employee account with my Q it took 2 days, cancelling my employee account took 1 day, and now it takes my co-workers 7 days to get a phone in the mail...its ridiculous. Im on personal account with my voyager and would not have it either way, I've heard to many horror stories.

I upgraded 2 lines on Friday afternoon, got thru after about 15 minutes. The guy was extremely cheerful and helpful. I imagine it depends on what area you're in.

It has been hectic in the call centers.

The website traffic has jumped WAY up since the new phones came out, and we've been swamped with all the orders and activations.

Sorry for the wait!

I guess my biggest question is, if it takes us like 5 minutes to order a phone through D-Fill for a customer, why does it take 3 weeks to order one for an Employee? Is it a different process? Are the people that work in Employee Accts working on other stuff as well?

Well first and foremost compliance is partialy the main reason for the slow process of ordering equipment. They are researching now to make sure employees aren't (over)upgrading (using more than there alotted share of discounted equipment. Additionally, we can all thank Enron. Yea enron! When VZW sponsors and discounts to their own employees they can't just throw stuff off the back of a truck. I mean seriously! ๐Ÿ™„ I've heard the frustration and sympathize as I used to monitor the employee phone team. But the reality although we are customers alot of us failed to utilize our self serve options as oppose to calling up. We should be "PROMOTERS" of our own self serve options like the forms made avialable to make changes to our accou...

Why in the world would you CALL them to activate? Unless there is some problem with activation, you can activate using your My Verizon or the IVR. I do agree that they are very slow! Since the employee accounts are moving toward using My Verizon to make changes on your employee account, I would think that the Employee Account employees may be suffering from short timers disease. The way they treat fellow coworkers would not fly when in the world of CS.
