Verizon Managers
Are all verizon managers hustlers and car salesman? I have only been at vzw a few months but all my mangers are the worst. They will steal your sale any day.

Usually managers are promoted because they are the most successful sales people. Aggressive, smooth and money hungry. That is not always the case, but it is rare for me to see a manager of any sales business who is not, or was not, also one of the best sellers.
When you say, steal your sale, what do you mean? Or they snaking it out from under you by walking over and starting to talk to the same customer you are? Or are the people you talk to coming back later and talking to somebody else? What policies do you have in place at your store for who gets the sale?

Seeing as a vzw manager doesn't make a direct commission for an individual sale, why would they "steal" it from you? They get paid the same on the sale regardless of who in the store sells it.

Okay first of all if you work in sales you have to be that a salesperson!!!!!!! I have never stolen a sale from any of my employees so the manager that you work for is just a douche. And if you are really worried about it you need to not complain about it on this forum why don't you talk to your manager. I am the type of manager that my employees can talk to granted i do not know what kind of manager you work for but if they steal your sales in my book that makes them a douche

No way you work for Verizon, you have continually displayed this on the forum. My guess is a sub that sells multiple carriers or maybe part time at kiosk for an agent. You said you are in Columbus Ohio....which store?

I really don't want to be negative. But i have never worked for a company that treated their employees so bad. I work at the easton store in Columbus, OH. If you know Columbus you should know that it brings in the most revenue of any store in Ohio. Customers need to know that every time they sign a contract with verizon they are being ripped off. Mangers try to always make us up sell the customers. Someone wants a basic phone we try and sell them a voyager. 😳

Since you seem to dislike VZW and your Manager so much, why don't you quit and go back to in the unemployment line? Your job is a JOB! If you don't like it move on and when you do, try to leave the attitude behind. If you go into sales, you are going to need to sell. If you go into Cust Service you will need to provide customer service.

The Easton store does not bring in the most revenue of any store in Columbus. In fact, out of six corp. locations, Easton is fourth this month. I call BS.

It sounds to me like maybe you shouldn't be in sales. There are good ways and bad ways to go about everything, but you can still hit your numbers either way. From your comments though, it seems to me that you have a problem with selling in general.

All managers that I have talked to are car salesman and hustlers. If the public knew how bad the stores where they would go to a different company. I do sleep well... I don't hustle anyone. I give them what they need and try to cut them a deal when/where i can. If the trade of to that deal ends up makin me a couple extra bucks so be it.. but i'm not hustling anyone. Go eat rocks.. you're an idiot
