Questions to any of you Verizon Reps?

Ok, I currently have a EnV(the original orange one) and I'm on the second one, since March, I keep having problems with the charging port, all my friends have had problems with that too. I haven't had to use my insurance because Verizon gave me another one for free since my phone messed up with-in 30 days. My question is since I've only had the phone for two months, is there a possible way I could get an EnV2? I'm willing to pay the difference off between the two phones, but I just don't want to pay full price for the phone, so is there a way I can get an EnV2? So any VZW Reps. that can help with this question, please answer with details.

If you continue to have problems and really haggle around w/FRU (the nicer the better). They usually work with you a little bit. JUST BE NICE. Yes, the 9900 has had problems with the charge port. I FRU'd my EnV right before i got my curve and my replacement had the charge port fall right out of it.

Do however, make sure the EnV2 is what you want. I wouldn't make the move myself. I got the curve instead

Ok, I will put my 2 cents in on this one. I work for web chat and as far as we have been told after you exchange it the 3rd time under warranty (bringing it in the 4th time) you can order a new phone of your choice at the discounts you deserve. I could be wrong though.

Could be and are. You must have the phone replaced 3 times within (I believe) 90 days for the same reasons. What I would suggest is to make sure you like the enV2 for one and then be very nice to the store reps and see if they can allow a one time courtesy to exchange to a new env2 due to it being a recurring issue. If you do have the phone replaced 3 times under warranty and then are changed to the enV2...this will reset your New Every Two/Upgrade date.

Hmm...well what we offer is if you HAVE had your phone replaced 3 times under warranty withing 90 days (like its been said) we don't offer a BRAND new phone off the floor at the NE2 price...we offer a warranty exchange device of equal features (or lesser if you choose) as long as you purchase a battery *because warranty replacements do not come with batteries* Most people love this idea they come out spending 39.99+tax and get a phone!

In your case, I and my team have done a one time exchange to customers who are extremely polite and not rude, it's the golden rule. It all really depends on your rep to be honest with you :/

I would like to know what happens with your phone issues. I'm betting you will have to pay full retail. Verizon has no rhyme or reason on how they operate

Yes they do... it is called Methods and Procedures. If you truly work for VZW- read them!
