ok i just have another question to you store reps bec i don't want to send a customer to a store incorrectly. so normally for employee discounts (teacher, goverment discounts n stuff) they have to go online/print the form/fax the form, or just rec by fax and fax back. so if they don't have a fax i usually tell them to go to the store. i've never had problems with this until now, where i had some customer that went to a direct store and the store said they couldn't help her so i don't know if you guys help custs with that.

My store we have a scanner/camera that we take pictures of the ID/Paycheck stub/business card etc etc, and we search for the company on our system and apply the discount IMMEDIATELY to the account, we just got those new scanners in about 2months ago and that update to our system about 6 weeks ago. BEFORE we had all that cool stuff we would personally print and fax their form to the fax number provided along with a copy of their proof of employment, and give them a confirmation fax...So long story short...yes a direct agent should be able to as...

I am an indirect agent and we also can help you get your employee discount, we just dont have the means to get it added immediately like the previous poster can. We have to do the long form and fax it in, but it is usually applied to the account within a week or so.

It can take up to 2 billing cycles though, it all really depends on the department, we've had some take longer but after re-faxing it showed up on the next bill.

Yeah he is definately right, it can take up to two billing cycles, but as long as there is not a problem with the info we submit it is usually a week or two before it is applied.
