Thinking of upgrading to a PDA!?!?!

I recently found the need for a PDA. I am wanting to upgrade to a better phone, and I think the PDA is the way to go. I will mostly be using it for email, work and personal. I have been looking at alot of phones on here, and I am having a really hard time deciding. I really like the Trio, but I have heard that it is crap. Any news on what might be coming out soon? Any idea where i might get the best price? I am 6 mo into my 2yr contract, so renewing is out. Any help anyone could offer would be great!

If you need a smartphone and email is a priority. I would go the Blackberry route. The 8830 and new 8330 (curve) are both great choices. If you need a camera I would go the curve route.

Treo's aren't the worst, I just personally don't think they are as good as blackberries, especially for heavy email use. Extensive 3rd party software is also available for both blackberries and treo's.

I would also read the reviews on this website for any phone that you are looking for. The reviews on hear are typically some of the best on the internet that I have found.

To add to cwanty i think think the blackberry is the easiest to pick up and learn as well, so if this is your first pda that might be the route to go

I was amazed at how quickly I was able to pick it up and use it. I even have the Pearl, with the supposedly tough to use 2-letter per key keyboard. I type on it WAY faster than I ever typed with a conventional keypad, even with my large, clumsy hands.

Email is a snap to set up, the organizer-related functions on the device are a godsend, one of those things you don't realize you needed until you have them on your phone, and you don't even lose out on the music player capabilities. And the 8130 is exactly the same size as the LG 9400 I owned before, so it's not bulky at all and will fit right into your pocket.
