So, I have just joined VZW on my dad's account, but with my own plan. As of right now he signed me up for
NATIONWIDE SELECT 450 ANY UNL N&W UNL IN UNL MSG + EMAIL & WEB FOR BLACKBERRY.

Does this give me the same exact thing as
BlackBerry® Nationwide Email & Messaging 450.

I'm a bit confused. Thanks!

I think the package you have actually only gives you access to pop3 email, where the other plan gives you corporate email access via Blackberry Enterprise Servers. For some reason the bundle is more expensive, but you're not really getting much more. You should be all good with what you have.

So do they both give me unlimited use of internet/email? Does the "other plan" also give me acces to pop3 email? Also, what exactly is Blackberry Enterprise Servers?

When I did the math,
the NATIONWIDE SELECT 450 ANY UNL N&W UNL IN UNL MSG + EMAIL & WEB FOR BLACKBERRY $59.99 + EMAIL & WEB FOR BLACKBERRY $29.99 = $89.99.

The BlackBerry® Nationwide Email & Messaging 450 came out to be $79.99.

the BlackBerry® Nationwide Email & Messaging 450 plan includes Blackberry Enterprise Server access. which is needed if you intend to get corporate emails from your employer that pass thru an exchange or bes server.

BES is for coporate use. Just contains more security features and better integration with outlook.

Either plan is unlm, so I would choose the cheaper one if you dont need access to a BES server.

The Blackberry enterprise server/ BES is for business email, if you just want personal email like hotmail or gmail then what you have is fine. web is also included in this package. So email and text till your fingers bleed you are covered.

your math is correct but the you have unlimited text on your package

this is correct. email & web for blackberry feature in the first plan is only for webmail like yahoo aol etc and pop3/imap emails.

the second choice, includes the blackberry enterprise server for large BES and Exchange servers ran by companies.

Alright, so, in conclusion. I DO have unlimited texting/data/internet/email on my plan right now. Since the other plan is cheaper, do you think it would be wise to switch to the other plan?
