I have used the Dare for about an hour the other day....and this leaves all the other phones we have in the dust. Exceptional camera, amazing touch with new UI, easiest virtual keyboard I ever saw, lighter and smaller than an iphone but with a bigger touch screen and more responsive than ANY touch phone I ever played with....
Now verizon has the most subscribers, the largest phone selection and the best network.....rest in peace ATT.

Speculated release is July 4th, do you know if this phone will come out sooner than that? do you know if there is multitasking on this phone?

i was bale to mess around with the prototype of the phone. According to the lg rep there will be multitasking like on blackberrys. It def wont be out before the 4th most likely after that from what i was told.

LG's phones in general are all starting to use the method they did with the "Chocolate". They heard the complaints and adapted to allow the multi-tasking now (thankfully). July 4 is almost a guarantee at this point. Having played with this phone...it is great. The virtual keyboard is better than the tactile keyboard on the Voyager. As for that previous post about "most subscribers"....remember, the merger isn't done so that's not true. Most post-pay subscribers yes. But just remember...it hasn't happened yet.

I'm so excited for this phone! And its set to come out 4 days before my contract with Sprint is up, which means that it should be available when I walk into Verizon and finally switch!

Those of you "in the know": Is this going to be in the $200 or $300 range after the two-year contract discount?
I've seen both posted. I'm hoping for $200 (1) because of the iPhone 3G pricing, (2) because it's not a Smart Phone, and (3) I don't want to spend $300 on a phone.. lol.
