It gives a good record of who has called before it is too late to do anything about it. Today I was able to track down a customer who wasn't answering his office phone and this was the only way I could get a record of his cell number.

I've known about this since it started. Very useful. They really help out during those calls whenever a mother calls in, acting all frantic and everything, saying that she needs to know who her daughter/son last called, as they're "missing" (when she really just wants to spy on them). 🙄
