why are verizon retailers so sketchy??
sketchy MAY not be the exact word i was looking for...but anyway. i know the LG VX8000 is being released on feb. 1st. every verizon retailer i go to says "i have no clue" when i ask when theyll be getting it. i only know about the release date from the internet, but are they being so misleading because they want you to buy a phone THAT day so they can get commission so you dont wait another 3 days for the phone to come out, or do the phones just randomly arrive at the stores on any given day after the release date with no prior notice? i figure they HAVE to know something since they work in the store...

I work in a kiosk and I was asked that same question the other day. I don't know because my boss ships them too us and informs us the day before. I never tell a customer an exact date either because I cannot guarantee we will have it in. So I dont want them to plan on coming into town and then we havent' recieved it yet. So it isn't so much that they are sketchy, but maybe we truly are uninformed. As much as i try to stay up to date w/all the phones it is much too difficult to do so, at least with my boss who is a very tricky guy to get a hold of.

what about not getting help in a vzw store? i was in there with my gf, who by the way was shopping for anew phone, and couldnt get proper help...when asked a question abuot which phone to but "they are all the same"...come on dudes u can come up with abetter pitch than that...pathetci...i am now an official vzw hater.....lets go cingular

yea ill just be pissed if i cant get the lg 8000 on feb 1st because ive been using a destroyed phone all month knowing i just have "a few days left". if anyone has any further info on when theyll make it to stores id appreciate it. thanks.
