VZW is the best carrier in America.

VZW has some flaws, just like any company. However, when compared to the rest of the carriers on

network quality
customer service
handset selection
public perception

VZW is the best and their is no argument. I think people try to point out the flaws and state that VZW is not the best when EVERYONE knows this isn't true.

That said, fixing said flaws will cause VZW to have customers that are even MORE loyal.

Thank you and good day.

Look you have to realize in Debate 101 the first person who turns into a personal attack loses. It means they have no relevant points to make in rebuttal so instead they attempt to assassinate the character....Classic.

VErizon is NOT know for their handssets....Name one phone that came out for Verizon that is a house hold brand and is still selling a ton...... There isn't ...

I don't think you know anything about debate. It's perfectly fine to insult your opponent if you are still delivering good points to go with the insults.

I concur.

And to answer AVGSMOES question:

VZW has plenty of customers using blackberrys.

I see plenty of people with the ENV. I have even read posts in the ATT phone of folks wanting a phone like the env.

The chocolate sells alot, so ATT had to respond with the sony walkman phone.

The lg 8100 and 8300 were great phones.

Kids love the juke

The Coupe has been a good seller for the senior citizens.

Also, remember that the iphone was offered to VZW first.

No. VZW didn't buy alltel to say they are number one. VZW has ALWAYS stated that they are number one. Now they just have the most customers again.

ATT routinely copies VZW's marketing strategy. They are not innovative at all. ATT is selling it's soul to the devil for a phone that was offered to VZW first. What company would pay Apple all that money for a good but not great phone???

The curve that VZW has is actually updated from the one ATT received. It is the latest and greatest curve on the market.

Next question ladies.

The 8330 has more built in memory (not really a big deal) but no wifi. Why is it better?

It's the network. 🤣

Seriously speaking, VZW got the phone later. So what.

All of this is a moot point when LTE launches. VZW will get phones the same time as any other worldwide carrier.

Customer service and network quality are the biggest factors for wireless users. Only recently have customers considered leaving a carrier because of a phone. That trend will cease when LTE launches.

I was just wondering why you said it was better.

LTE may or may not lead to what you say it does. The phones will still need the CDMA chips in them because they're not going to be attached to an LTE signal all the time. What does that mean? You'll have CDMA phones compatible with 1xRTT, EV-DO, and LTE for data connections. I seriously doubt that you'll be able to activate any unlocked GSM phone to Verizon's LTE network.

I don't dispute your point. But at some point I think the manufacturers will start making different devices that will allow access to these technologies. Instead of an unlocked GSM phone, I'm anticipating that an unlocked LTE capable device will be able to work on LTE and CDMA.

I don't believe that is impossible...but correct me if I am wrong.

It's certainly not impossible, but I think it's incredibly unlikely. LTE will not be everywhere just like EVDO is not everywhere now. Verizon's customers that don't live in an EVDO network would not be able to connect to the older digital CDMA signals if their phones didn't support that CDMA signal. Verizon will never fully get away from needing CDMA capable devices because that is the backbone of their network. I don't think you'd be able to use an unlocked LTE/GSM phone because it wouldn't be compatible with the backbone. Does that make sense?

What carrier has the best handsets?

And name the handsets.

Regarding service quality, Sprint and Tmobile are known to have serious deficiencies nationwide.

I have used Sprint, Tmobile, and Verizon. Verizon has had the best coverage anywhere I have traveled in the country, in buildings, or on the interstate.

Customer service goes to Verizon. Verizon routinely wins awards for customer service. I will admit that the wireless industy on the WHOLE is lacking in that department.

I will admit that I like ATTs advertising/marketing. That rollover minutes commerical with the mom yelling at the son for throwing away minutes was pretty funny IMHO.
