Verizon always gets the popular phones after they have become old news everywhere else....Why not the Iphone. I mean the RAZR is still relatively new with Verizon (albeit at 1/2 the processor)

It would be awesome so see the iPhone on VZW, but I'm pretty sure it would be super expensive. I guess the plan would cost as much as a PDA plan with everything included. If it does happen, then VZW would be unstoppable!

It looks like Tmo is going to have their 3G network on a different frequency than AT&T (1.7ghz vs 1.9ghz and 850mhz). So why would apple decide to manufacture a separate phone with less economies of scale just for Tmo? doesn't sound like apple's style. the same goes for a phone for Verizon and Sprint. Why would they make a phone that can only be sold in the US and would have significantly lower economies of scale? Especially when Verizon probably told them to go @%$#$ themselves the first time they tried to make a deal because they were asking for revenue sharing? Don't forget what a vindictive guy Steve J can be. They are making one phone that works all over the world. I...

while I agree Steve Jobs would not make a cell phone just for one carrier (T-Mobile) don't forget there is a huge market with CDMA, albeit not as large as GSM, but just because Europe has mandated GSM as their technology, doesn't mean in all of the world GSM is used. If you live in North/South America CDMA is the most dominated technology with more coverage than GSM Carriers. Even if you are in Brazil, US, Canada...etc. Most Asian countries have adopted CDMA! South Korea, All CDMA, All new Carriers in Japan CDMA,....Australia, New Zealand....CDMA

Steve Jobs can't overlook that market, he's in this to make money...

I'm sorry honey, but most countries in South America (especially those where Movistar operates) CDMA is going to be turned off by the end of this year, and others by the end of next year. Making all other carriers switch too! Why you ask? Well, to be able to compete with Movistar. If you think that CDMA phones in the US suck, then you'll be terrified when you see those I saw while I was in SA since Sep 07 to Jan 08. I had never seen such horrible phones.

If Apple wants to take on BlackBerry and try to become the leader in the corp world it's very possible they could roll out a CDMA/GSM model, like the 8830 or Moto Q Global. Then again, new or old iPhone, you still have to send it back to have the battery replaced and obviously you can't carry a spare. Why would a corp jet setter type want to have to worry about finding an electric hole to charge up?
iPhone - slick and cool. BB - proven and reliable; and you can change the battery.
