New blackberry
I saw the blackberry thunder and was wondering if anyone knew when it is coming out? I am thinking about switching to Verizon, my carrier is ticking me off.

Blackberry curve is currently the best phone for internet and email that verizon offers. Thats just my opinion, but I think its a pretty good device

I dont know what to tell you then. The curve is the best device for email. If you dont like the look--then stick with your iphone. We can only provide suggestions, you have to make the final decision. Good luck in your choice.

That is no option...i am 100% on leaving my carrier, had enough poor service to last me a long time. I guess I will try the dare since we do not know how long it will be for the blackberry. When i had verizon before it worked pretty good at my house and if i can get my email i will be happy.

I personally prefer a real keyboard, but if youre used to the iphone, im sure you can adjust pretty easily to the dare.

I have a BB and a voyager. I am making the assumption that email will be close to what is offered on my voyager. I am also making the assumption that you are not using corporate email on your iphone..if I get those assumption wrong i apologize.

This is good for pop 3 like hotmail,gmail
You get your email pretty fast, usually 10 minutes, the longest i ever noticed was 45 minutes. This is basic email, you get the body/text. You do not get pictures and attachements. So if that is all you need then great. also vcast is $15 so if you want web you will be paying about the same $20 you pay on the iphone.
If you need more then get a blackberry, you will receive your attachments and plus you can link from em...

sounds like the dare might work for me, i will check back to see if there is any update on when they are coming out next week. last question, what is verizon's return policy if i don't like the dare or the blackberry comes out a few weeks later?
