Any experience on both the Pearl and the 6900
I currently use the 6700 (archaic I know), and I love the functionality. But Blackberrys are so user-friendly and easy to troubleshoot. I have had my eye on the Pink Pearl, but now I'm tossed up between that and the 6900. Is there anyone out there that has used them both to give me an honest comparison? I am very familiar with the phones and the services and they would both suit my needs, I just can't decide. I'm not all-too excited about all touch screen. I know it's the latest greatest, but to go without some sort of keyboard doesn't appeal to me too much. Also the BB pricing is lower for data. Sounds like I'm making a compelling argument for the Blackberry eh? But I would still like an educated recommendation. Thanks 🙂

I want a much smaller phone this time. My 6700 with the extended battery is HUGE, so I like the smaller devices ... go ahead, call me Zoolander 😉

sorry hit the button a little soon..
anyway, the 6800 is better than the 6900.. and you'd still have your full keyboard. You're familier with WM i see so no explanation needed there.
If you decide a blackberry is for you the pearl is a decent device. I would tell you to at least check out the curve. It has the latest bb software and IMO is a better device than the pearl.

Thanks for the input, for some reason I haven't really considered the Curve yet, maybe I'll look into that as well. Anything to confuse my little brain even more 😉

its an awesome device.. many of the peeps that post here use one, including myself. I think its a lot easier to use than the pearl, and instead of that suretype keypad you'd have a full qwerty that i was sceptical about but have grown to love.

pearl is good, curve is better.
6900 is fun and cool but trying to type on it is very very difficult without using the stylus. and I dont know about you but I dont want to be holding a sytlus to push tiny onscreen keys to txt someone.

i haven't used the touch for an extended period of time. But I have played around with it and I am not the biggest fan. I still think BB makes the best smartphones out there and that is def the route I would go when looking at verizons smart phones offerings.
If you really want a full touchscreen phone i would wait for the BB thunder which should offer the best of both worlds to bb users.
Hope this helps, good luck!'
