What would you all say is the best phone VZW offers right now? Which is your favorite? What phone are you anxiously waiting the release of?

I'm excited to see what the Dare has to offer.. i was stoked about this phone at first, but i've come to realize that a touch screen isn't for me... but i still wanna check this phone out.

I have the Curve and believe it to be the best current phone available, then the LG 8350 for a good solid basic phone.

I'm waiting for the Motorola V750, I wanna try Verizon's new PTT.

i don't understand PTT at all... why would it be a service you'd want?

Most don't understand the desire to have PTT, they just think of Nextel and a bunch of annoying red neck nascar loving fools, that chrip chrip.

But it's much more than that to me, it's instantaneous communication that just can't be beat.

In short it starts out as a very cool novelty feature, but turns into a very useful tool.

With the Motorola V750 you will see a big red button, just click pick a contact and chirp. Just like an old school walkie talkie.

All the details are not out about verizon PTT, but your should be able to send other type of data , voice memo, etc.

can you chirp more than one person at a time?

You could with Nextel it was called group connect, you could chrip a 100 people. We shall see what verizon comes to the table with. But according to hofo vets it seems very positive.

I had PTT on Sprint and really enjoyed, I believe now that verizon will be on REV a it should be off the chain. I am following the hofo thread and those that have the prototype say it work extremely well.

yeah that would be my only concern .. Having had the Voyager I can say I NEVER EVER used the front screen on it besides to hit answer when a call was coming in

I truly hated txtin from the front .. having no "feel" for the keys and my fat ass fingers .. lol not a good thing .. the actual BB that I am truly looking foward to is the NIAGARA

3.2 Camera and a sweet looking body
