I know a lot of people have been waiting for this phone...but for some reason I just dont think its that great looking. Of all the new all touch screen phones, the Dare is by far the worst. I will check it out when it gets released in stores, but the pictures that have been released so far have not really impressed me.

I'm excited about this one, hopefully it'll meet my expectations, I have the Voyager now and I just want something thinner, even if I have to give up the QWERTY keyboard

It looks thin, not really a lot of good pictures out yet to determine, but the video we got at work showed it, the chocolate 3, and the decoy which i played with today and it feels CHEAP. But the video gave me a pretty good idea on how it looks, we'll probably get one in in a week or so at our store then ill be able to get my hands on one, it could be all hype for we know

Gotcha...I thought i read somewhere that it had a stylus. Good to know.

The only all touchscreen phone Im even remotely interested in is the BB Thunder. I will def give that bad boy a look! All of verizons touch screens use the same UI, so its kinda boring. Im usually not a UI hater, but after using smartphones, I dont think i could go back to having the same old UI on every phone.

Im a tech junkie, so learning a new UI was never an issue. And quite frankly, most regular cell UI's are somewhat limited. I have played with most att phones, and the verizon UI is just as good as most of em.

I understand why they did the UI think, I just wish they would offer an option for those people that want the orig interface.

So, it appears that including the Rev-A chip in the phone (see link) is paying off. We'll have to see how the HSPA plays out on the new iPhone. i know the downlink speeds with Rev. A are only moderately faster (10% to 15%) but the latency/ping time is WAY lower then the Voyager.

Keep playing with that thing and tell us what you find out. I can't wait to take a peek at one after they launch next month.

Chris, I can tell you from actually having the phone in my hands that it is a lot better looking in person. The pictures do it no justice. It's pretty thin (you can't have it too thin or it just won't feel right) and works great. It's a very nice phone...and the minute it's available, my order is going out 🤣

Yeah I will def take a look at it when it comes out. I won't buy it, cause I dont wanna give up my curve, but you will prolly catch me lurking at the verizon store around the first week in July, lol
