Dare Review on Endgadget Mobile
Well the first hands-on is out and its not that great.

Overall I'm really disappointed because I was hoping that LG would really tie all the loose ends together and have a legitimate threat to the iPhone.

I'm really hoping that they were testing a pre-release unit. I haven't been that into cell phones now for about 3 years (too damn pricey) but I was really looking forward to playing with this.

either way i am waiting for the blackberry thunder, but I will not base my judgement on this phone from one persons opinion after playing with it for a few minutes, I will waite till more have had a chance to check it out before i judge it.

No doubt and I agree with you. The iPhone 3g is going to be big ergo I was expecting the first reviews of the Dare to be on par overall and in some areas to go above and beyond what the iPhone is capable of.

I think the problem with people reviewing say the dare or Sprint's instinct is the constant comparison with the iphone...that is not really a bad thing because they are obviously competition but just because something works differently than the way it works on the iphone does not necessarily make it a bad thing. I think many are used to the way the iphone operates and when something is a little different they often jump to soon in thinking that makes it bad.

Yes, I agree with the iPhone comparison, but hey, get over the iPhone. Yes it's a great phone, but there's other great phones out there that deserve more credit (CDMA).
Sometimes they (Endgadget Mobile) will praise the speeds of the data cards, reaching 7.1 mbps on HSDPA. Who has ever experienced that in the "real world". I bet their carrier is at&t, just by the way they compare carriers and devices. I just ask for a fair review on ALL devices, regardless of carrier, or GSM vs. CDMA.
