Bluetooth 101

Might sound like a dope here - but I bot a bluetooth adapter for my computer, where can I get software to synch with my env2?

Tried BitPim and it doesn't have this model and tells me provider locked this feature.

Seems like other people have had the ability to send music/ringers etc via this method.

I have the old music essential kit if it helps.

Clueless here.

No clue.....do you have a memory card? When you try to sync does your env 2 find your computer or vice versa?

Verizon has locked most of the bluetooth functions on the phones. Basically, you will not be able to transfer music and ringtones through bluetooth on Verizon phones. You will not be able to connect to your PC with Bluetooth either. You can transfer a VCard on some phones and you can use a Bluetooth headset and other Bluetooth items offered on the Verizon Website. Also some phones will work with the bluetooth built into newer model cars.

So in short verizon screws the consumer YET again. I paid for ringtones on my KRZR and the only way to get them to my new phone if it even works anymore is to send via pix message and pay a charge. Meanwhile I have read several people have done this and it doesn't work all the time.

They should change the name to;
Verizon Communist Wireless

Motto; "Where you pay for the same thing as many times as we can find a way to screw you"

LOL I can't wait to see what happens when Verizon goes LTE and has to start giving away what they are used to gaining great income from like ATT has been doing all along with their open source BT and file exchanging.

Verizon will be losing a ton of fees they currently collect.....But Im guessing they will find a way to charge users EXTRA for the new
"open source" Verizon......

Kool-Aid? How did you manage survive the Jonestown party and get here to the US?

Judging by the one-track mind that you constantly exhibit in these forums, it is obvious that you could use an attitude adjustment.

You are clearly happy with whatever services yo...

Joe doesn't understand that people have actually chosen, and Verizon is what they want. He believes, for some reason, every Verizon Wireless customer is to moronic to make up their own mind, and that signal couldn't possibly matter, and that a lot of people don't care to have his Nokia phone, me included.

As to roll over his silly one track mind can't grasp the same idea he preaches about. I am loosely quoting here

"Best coverage doesn't matter if you don't use it"

To over 68 million customers Minutes don't matter if they don't use them, well to more than that because only AT&T has rollover.

his concept of something not mattering if you don't use it, that is the direct concept to rollover, so by his own reasoning, that should...
