Mobile IM

Another Newb Question:

I have an LG Dare with 500 TXT/PIX (and Unlimited In) and the VCast Data Pack. If I use Mobile IM do I get charged for anything? I thought I heard somewhere that I'd get charged one text (out of my 500 non-In texts), but all Verizon's site says is:
With Version 2.0.1 of the client login and contact list refresh uses Minutes of Use (unless you have a VPAK data plan, in which case KBU usage applies) otherwise standard text messaging rates apply.

Thanks!

It just counts as one of your out of network messages.

It does come out of your 500, that's the standard texting rate because mobile IM isn't an "IN" text, therefore it's treated the same as a text to Sprint, or Tmobile and will be taken from the 500 message bucket each message sent or received, including yahoo and aol spam.

I agree, just to save you the drama of a super high bill. I would strongly suggest the same. If you're going to be using Mobile IM, I would recommend a select plan, cause they give you unlimited messaging.
