Questions of possible change
Hello to yall you verizon people out there. First i want to say that i hope all has been well in the sales world for you all. I do work for ATT going on about a year now i have no problem with Verizon im just an ATT man myself ya know.
Anywho to the point now...
I may be wrong about this which is why i am asking anyone that works for Verizon corps, agents, or whoever can help me out here, i have heard from a reliable source of mine that when everything with the Verizon purchase of ALtell is completed that Verizon has planned to do away with the my circle deal that Altell has.
I just want to know how much truth to that is cause my source sells att sprint and verizon in a kiosk in a Sams club and thats what they have been told i...

It sounds reasonable to me that they would do away with it. That is something that Alltel offers, not Verizon. Once the merger is complete all the customers will be Verizon customers and be using Verizon services. Now the Alltel customers may be grandfathered in on their current plans for a certain amount of time or until they do something that requires a change. I doubt the My Circle will be anything offered to new customers or anyone that switches to a current plan.

ok that sounds good. Just wondering what everyone had heard. Cause to me it seems kinda crazy to do away with it even if not right away. people like that my circle thing cause they can call up to 20 people they want to on whatever network and im sure its a nice thing to be able to do. I think in ways it will happen and verizon will do away with it but at the same time bad cause i think it will make altell customers upset to know that they have to do away with it. but i may be wrong about that.
Thank you for your input vzwinagent its greatly appreciated

I highly doubt the my circle plans will disappear. A ton of people that have alltel do so just because of that plan.
It doesn't make sense for Verizon to alienate them. They are paying customers. I am curious if anyone who works for alltel has a number of customers on a my circle plan or a rough approximation. That info would be nice to know.
Verizon rolled out a similar program for small business accounts that gives them 5 numbers like my circle. It is $5 per line. I take this as a precursor to it being implemented company wide for all accounts.
It takes time to create user interfaces and adjustmentrs to the billing system to accomodate the "circle". Nothing is set in stone but it helps no one in speculating what is going to hap...

so why cant they just have call centers just fo alltel billing systems until a majority of alltel customers either leave or migrate to verizon? that would be fairly simple. but you know that would be seamless and smart. and we are not smart in this world.

dude.. at this point it's all speculation. No one knows what they are/aren't going to do. So until there's an announcement no one is going to know

i never said what is or not going to happen. i just dont trust they are going to make it easy. they are probably going to go with the cheapest route. thats just basic business operation

i was just stating that anything anyone would say right now would just be heresay... there would be no validity to anything "claimed" in response to your post
...
i was just putting my 2 cents in. never saying that verizon would do that. not trying to create rumors and an arguement.

well this thread would just create rumors... that's my point
