New Verizon Phones with V-Cast

Are the new phones worth the price if you are not willing to pay $15.00 for vcast. Need new phone but will wait for Treo 650 for business purposes if it ever comes available.

Please advise.

I have a very new LGVX 7000 and yesterday spent an hour testing the 8000 in my local VZW store. If you do not need the VCAST stuff, I see no reason to switch. Additionally, the 8000 ear piece sound quality was tinny as compared to my black 7000, and it did not appear to be able to go louder than this unit was already set.
Yes it had a Lithium Polymer battery which lasts longer and it has stereo sound and a larger external display. I am not into my phone for the camera but if you want a 1.3 mega pixel camera then the picture images are better.
Don't get me wrong, it is a good phone (but BIG, bigger than the 7000 and could be used in the inner cities as a substitute for brass knuckles if yours happen to get lost).
I did not get a chance...

Well...there's not a very good reason for buying one of the new EV DO enabled phones if you're not going to play video clips. I got a chance to play an ESPN Superbowl interview with both head coaches...and man, you will not believe how smooth the video is. Silky smooth. Smooth like butter. Get the picture? The Samsung a890's menu is one of the absolute coolest designs you'll ever see. Go check it out.

P.S. The 8000 IS big. WAY big. But man, what a screen.
