Help!

Ok so here is my question...I have a Slvr L7C, and as you may know, it is discontinued. It is currently freezing several times a day for no reason. I am not eligible until July 2009 for a new every two upgrade.

So, how would Verizon handle this? Would I get re-upped for two years now after a purchase of a new phone since mine is broken (and they can't replace it with a Slvr since it is discontinued)??

Any help would be great! Thanks!

I believe it still is...but I was just wondering what they would do at the Verizon store since it cannot be replaced Slvr for Slvr since it is discontinued.

but they'll probably still have FRU's(field replacement units) to swap it with.

Translation: All warranties issues are resolved by replacing your phone with a refurbished unit. They still have refurbs LONG after the phone is discontinued new-for-sale.

They're not all refurbished....some are still new models that weren't sold originally or pulled back from resellers. And the phone will be replaced with either a FRU or a like-modeled phone.

I ended up getting a FRU replacement on my LG vx8600 after it was discontinued. No complaints yet other than my front screen gets alittle goofy and unreadable sometimes.
It's a give or take deal.
