Does the LG 8000 have....
LED/Flash function for alerts good in quiet environments like the LG7000 does?

Don't quote me (I own the 7000) but I went to a VZW store today and tested the 8000. It did NOT appear to have the flashing multi-color LED's like the 7000.

All it has is a bright service indicator light that flashes in 3 different colors. But nothing like the 7000 had.
But it does have a wonderful vibrate motor. You will definately be able to use that as a replacement to bright lights.
